DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO AN UNDETERMINED FUTURE DATE. \nOn Wednesday\, March 18th from 7:30 to 9:00 am\, please join us in welcoming Urban Land Institure for the ULI Los Angeles StimULI Breakfast discussion\, From Urban Shopping Mall to Tech Campus: The Creative Office Conversion of Westside Pavilion. \nAs big-box retail centers decline\, developers are finding creative ways to repurpose large blocks of space to accommodate a new era. In 2018\, a joint venture between Macerich and Hudson Pacific Properties announced plans to redevelop the declining Westside Pavilion into creative office space. The following year\, tech giant Google pre-leased the entirety of the office space totaling nearly 600\,000 square feet\, further expanding their Los Angeles footprint. \nThe panel will explore the first-of-its-kind conversion of urban mall to creative office\, providing insights into innovative adaptive reuse strategies.
