SUMMARY:Thresholds 2024: Photography and Urban Architecture
DESCRIPTION:We are always on the lookout for new art\, architecture and design community partnerships.  We are super excited to announce an upcoming event with our friends at Los Angeles Center for Photography.  \nThresholds 2024: Photography and Urban Architecture: Open internationally for image-based artists\, this call invites submissions for photographic works from across the world that considers the relationship between photography\, urban architecture\, and their viewers/users. \nTaking street photography as its opening point\, Thresholds 2024 will consider our connections with and the ways in which urban architecture informs our presence in the world. From expansive skyscrapers to minute ornate details\, from periodic styles to historic monuments\, from the mundane to the iconic\, photography of urban architecture investigates the elements that define our public spaces and engagement\, capturing the aesthetics of the ever-changing global cityscapes. \nDeadline for submissions is Tuesday\, March 19th at midnight PST. \nSUBMISSION INFORMATION HERE\nExhibition opens May 4th at the Helms Design Center. \nPhoto by Joshua Tann\, Honorable Mention\, Personal Territory: Annual Members Exhibition 2023
