In partnership with Material Encounters, Nicole Cannon, AIA, of NCA Studio Inc will be presenting a series of multidisciplinary breakfast discussions that explore resilient design, the power of materiality, and the role of design in shaping equitable, regenerative, and hopeful futures.

Join us on Thursday, March 13 at 8:00 am, where Nicole will moderate “Rebuilding with Craft: The Role of Artisanship in Resilient Design”:

  • How can craftsmanship and high-quality materials contribute to fire-resistant, long-lasting architecture?
  • Examples of traditional and modern craft techniques that align with sustainable rebuilding.
  • How can exterior space and landscape protect, connect, and regenerate our soils and communities?
