Join us on Thursday, October 26 from 6 to 9 pm, as we welcome Louise Sandhaus and a panel of 1980s design giants - April Greiman, Jeri Heiden, Jayme Odgers, Peter Shire, and Paul Prejza - to remind us of the iconic LA design heyday and explore the motivations and design scene of this moment.
On Saturday, March 10, from 10am to 7pm, Helms Bakery District will host a day of FREE screenings of over 24 short films on architecture and design. Pop into any of the six participating showrooms on the walk, including Arcana Books, Harbour Outdoor, H.D. Buttercup, Room & Board, Scandinavian Designs, and Vitra to experience a unique program of films curated by Architecture & Design Film Festival.
For the last two months, KCRW’s DnA: Design and Architecture has looked at the structures that connect us and divide us. They called the series Bridges and Walls. Now the series has wrapped but the conversation continues – and we hope it will continue in person with you!
