After nearly 20 inspiring years at the Helms Design District, HD Buttercup will soon be closing their doors, and while we’re sad to see them go, we’re filled with gratitude for the creative legacy they leave behind.
Since opening in 2005, HD Buttercup has been more than just a furniture store: it’s been a design destination, a creative hub, and a beloved part of the Los Angeles design landscape. From bold statement pieces to timeless staples, their sprawling showroom has inspired countless homes and sparked endless conversations about style, comfort, and self-expression. Their ever-evolving showroom brought energy, vision, and a sense of discovery to our community, welcoming design lovers, curious explorers, and seasoned professionals.
Now, with just a few short weeks left, everything must go. It’s a rare chance to take home a piece of HD Buttercup’s iconic style and a small reminder of a store that redefined how we think about home.
We’ve been proud to call them neighbors and grateful for the innovation and character they brought to the Helms community. As they prepare to move on, we know they’ll leave behind not only beautifully furnished spaces, but also memories that span generations of designers, decorators, and design-loving guests.
